We could make our SMALL appliers substantially narrower but still retain incredible jaw strength. The fact an applier is thicker than other appliers seemed to have no particular

surgical significance. Almost without exception surgeons preferred the "Thick and Narrow" appliers over Weck "Thin and Wide" appliers. Ironically, this advantage is limited to SMALL size appliers.
